Maybe I misunderstood the question but I use Real Audio. I use it to listen to KCRWWW (the webcast version of Los Angeles' premier Public radio station) on my G4 all day long. It crashes occasionally, particularly if I do too much with Illustrator in between saves or during certain Photoshop processes. I gleefully overlook that because I consider getting great music sans War News/Propaganda to be a critical mental survival technique.
