I DL ed the Itunes and 8.6 patch files. Installed them and WOW !
My old Mac entered a new dimension ! Hundreds of channels of GREAT
music. Fantastic stuff I never heard before and a LIGHT SHOW too! TOO
MUCH ! But it got even better. It plays CDs and no more typing in the
titles.
I was a little disappointed at first that my 132 MHz cpu was not
fast enough to refresh the buffer fast enough to run the visuals. So I
chose slower bitstreams . Then I found out I was also running 5
applications in the background from when I was doing the installation !
DUUH !
And it burns CDs an encodes MPEGs. This is a great Mac media app. And it
was all free !
Thanks again for the tip David Klaus et al . My aging desktop got a shot
of the twenty first century for the price of an hours tinkering !
