My brother just got an ATI radeon 7000 vid card for his 8500. The card
works fine except when the 8500 tries to use the acceleration features on
the radeon, then the screen goes black and the system has to be restarted.
The 8500 is running 9.1(system) and 9.2(everything else in the system
folder) I have downloaded the latest version of the video card drivers from
ati.
