  Nothing wrong with a 9600, but you might be able to save a few bucks and
pick up a 8600. 
  Just as upgradeable, but has 3 instead of 6 PCI slots. This is enough for
a 2nd video card. Oh yeah, 8600's have on-board video - fill it with 4 MB
VRAM for max res. and color depth.
  Also, throw in a USB/FireWire card from Sonnet for scanners, camcorders, 3
button roller mice, etc.
  Mine's like 5 years old now. Best machine I've ever owned. Keep the power
supply clean, though. My P.S. choked to death on it's own dust.

(OS 9.1, G3-500, CD-R, 2 HD's, Zip, Dual CRT's, FW/USB, floppy, ADB,
Ethernet, 1/2 GB RAM. A true FrankenMac!)
