I recently upgraded from a maxed out 7100 to a 9500 that I am in the process of updating. I have thrown in a PowerLogix G3 400/1meg cache running at 440 mhz with a 55mhz system bus and should be recieving 256meg of ram today to throw into it. I am currently running 8.6 and will be updating to 9.x soon.
Next step is to replace the video card. I will be doing some gaming (the 7100 maxed out on the Marathon series), and some imaging work. It currently has an ATI Xclaim 8 meg card. I am looking at the Radeon 7000, but my budget will probably reach to 150 or so from selling things on the swap list. Any thoughts on this card or other recomendations?
