I just wanted to let you know, I have a 9600/540, care of XLR8 with a
Voodoo5 5500. I like mine a lot too. I use an 80 mm case fan w/ a
Molex adapter right over the BACK side of the card with a little
silicone rubber (Permatex). This keeps the card about 20-25 degrees
Celsius cooler than stock.

I had the V5 before with a 300 MHz stock CPU card.

The CPU upgrade made a _big_ difference in Unreal. From 15 fps to 40
fps. I went with XLR8 after carefully researching the low end mac CPU
upgrade card user responses. You can get an upgrade from PowerLogix
much cheaper and, in the long run, get a good one. However, too many
people complained of problems with Powerlogix and Sonnet and lengthy
return turnaround times. The XLR8 card is truly a quality piece of art
with an instruction manual second to none. They give you exact
instructions on how to overclock and exactly how to test for overclock
problems and what to expect if overclocking is your problem. I am truly
satisfied with the product and _definitely_ got my money's worth.

Sincerely yours, Grizzlygiant
