The 9500 is a pet project of mine that I want to
Actually build a Cheap MAC! I look at the specs for
the MACs and they where ahead of their time in design
and style. I have always thought that, BUT, as the
market goes, you go unfortunatly.
It is a hobby of mine to try to figure out
revitalizing and useing or giving away these refurbed
computers. Thus the question on VIDEO cards, PCI ATA
controllers and PCI USB cards which leads me to my
next question. IF I add a PCI USB card to my 9500.
Then turn around and use a USB KEYBOARD and Mouse
instead of the adb keyboard mouse combo ( which can be
cheaper than buying the replacement parts!!!)Combine
that, with a G3 or G4 Daughter Card ( again a GREAT
IDEA)u have a decent system. ALL that is left is to
see if OS x works on it along with the suggestions
everyone has made.......I venture forth......I will
post any progress i make. Thanks to all who took the
time to read! Dug
