Hello. I have a Soundblaster Live in my PM 9600/350 running OS 8.6. Any of you who have this card probably know that the drivers are...to put it nicely...less than adequate. The card usually works well with most of my games, but the software doesn't get along well with others and sometimes corrupts the sound prefs. I've had to disable one of its extensions to use it without vapor locking the computer.
I downloaded the new beta drivers, but according to the download site they only work with OS 9. Does anyone know of an improved version of the drivers that will work with OS 8.6?
