You have a few options here. The first is a USB Audio module with 
Optical. This can be either a large and very nice one and cost you 
the earth, in which case you need to check out what Roland have to 
offer. Alternatively if you specifically need Audio out and don't 
need Audio In and Volume controls and analog outs and stuff there is 
a company in Australia called Xitel which do a USB-MiniDisc Port for 
about US$60 (sold in the UK, USA, Europe and Aus.) which is a 
reasonably cheap and very good solution if you need Digital Optical 
out only and works on anything that takes Digital. The Third Option 
is to buy a dedicated PCI sound card. These are very expensive and 
often a bit of overkill for piping MP3 to a home cinema deck.
