I do nanny this list and while I won't boot you for forgetting the 
subject line ('cause I've done it too) I am going to try to remember 
it henceforth, because there are a lot of good people on this list 
who are being troubled by the lack.
I realize (now!) that lots of people get much more e-mail than I do 
and don't have the time to wade through unnecessary stuff.

Basically, it come down to courtesy.
