They do. Select "Custom" on installation, and then deselect the "extras" like Mail, News, RealPlayer. That's what I do, because I use third party software for all that. It makes a somewhat more trim installation, and takes a little less time to load. Still, I'm not quite sure why Netscape is so slow. It's based on the Mozilla engine, which right now is uber-speedy. Netscape is massively slower than IE 5 on my setup, but when IE goes down it likes to take the whole system with it. I can't live with that, so Netscape it is. I haven't tried Netscape 7PR1 yet. I will when my larger hard drive comes. But I really think Mozilla is the lean, mean way to go.
