These computers have 52X CD ROMS. Will these work on Macintoshes? I am thinking about just tearing them up and using the parts. The hard drives are larger than 1 gig. THese machines were netted together and thus, the hard drives are pristine. THE HARPMAN -- I regularly buy HD's, CDR's, CDRW's, ram, etc. at a local "pc only" computer show and use the parts in Macs. My 8500 runs with an ATX power supply that cost me five bucks. Fans and other parts may be useful. Even the case with some modification. I am starting to put a beige G3 in a 486 server case to take advantage of the eleven drive bays and extra fans. Still trying to decide to buy a 400 watt or better ATX power supply or use a power supply I already have with a second power supply to run the extra drives.
