I don't want to get into a flame war here, but I've never seen a Win98
CD, either original or second edition (Full Install Version or the OEM
version) that wasn't bootable. Only the last version of 95 had a
bootable CD. All three previous versions of 95 were distributed on non
bootable CD-ROMs. I've been installing Win98 since it first hit the
market. {I'm a hardware/network tech/system admin of a Wintel VAR. I
build around 500 Wintel desktops and servers a year. I use Mac's at
home along with my NeXT cubes, Sun's, SGI's and BeBox. Keeps me sane
:-) }
