Marc, The site where I downloaded the beta version from stated that it was for OS 9. I'm running OS 8.6 right now very happily, but will probably eventually be forced into 9+ with the newer games requiring it. Seems from the responses on the xlr8 forum that the beta version is a mixed bag, more towards the negative. I'll go ahead and give it a try anyway.
