Hello All,

I have been using a 300 mhz Sonnet Processor L2 upgrade in my 6500
for the past several years. I have always had trouble starting up
from a dead stop without first starting up with extension disabled,
and then restarting normally. This was the case up until I dropped a
Newer Tech file (I can't seem to locate it right now in the Ex fldr)
in the Extensions folder. I am also using Sonnet Processor
Upgrade--for what _that's_ worth.

As it stands, my Sonnet processor is running at a high temperature. I
fashioned a tiny shroud with fan with a flashing to slip between the
heatsink on this and the neighboring ram stick. It didn't seem to
help that much. I may try removing the heatsink on the processor and
replacing it with a much larger unit. As it is now, the processor at
173 degrees F is hot enough to fry eggs on.

Thanks,

Tim Sullivan
