I have one of the linksys instant broadband etherfast cable modem. The way to use it if you own one is to put the mac address from it into the client id on the tcp/ip control panel, then make sure you have it to get on as dhcp from there rock and roll. You will find it is fun. nice too if you have a loaded mac,,,
