Hi I replaced my old dead PSU in my 7500 awhile ago with an ATX PSU due to
the cost involved in bringing one into the country.

Its been working fine but I have just had two incidences which have left me
wondering about its compatibility.

I tried a brand new G3 card which wouldn't boot. (currently on its way back
for replacement)

And I got a 7inch 100Mhz 586 dos compatibility card today which fails to be
identified.

I am running a 604e 200Mhz genuine apple card and have also tried my 100Mhz
601 card. I have 256Mb Ram and am running OS 9.1

Could it be that the OS is incompatible with the dos card and the G3 was in
fact faulty, or is it just a run of bad luck?

There are 2 cables from the old PSU which according to the documentation are
not required. they are pins 1 and 6 on the small 10 pin connector. They are
brown and white and according to my PSU PCB are PFW and +sense.

Or it could be that im missing the CD for the dos card as it only came with
the floppys.

Any help appreciated

Thanks
