No. The 300Mhz processor is a 604ev Mach V card with inline cache. You can
only use it with another Mach V 8600 or 9600.

Yes. Both machines use 5 volt DIMM, though the 7200 can only use FPM. For best
performance be sure it is at least as fast as the memory presently in the
8500.

Probably not the same drives; but yes, assuming they are both the stock SCSI
50-pin HDs they will work in each machine.

You can upgrade the 7200 with a 7500 motherboard, which will give you a
processor slot, 8 DIMM slots, and a much cheaper g3, or even a g4 upgrade
path.
