I agree. LPR Printing set up using the Desktop Printer Utility is smooth. It works 
great on my LexMark Ethernet Printer Server printing to a LaserWriter Select 360 from 
various Macs from an 8100/110 running OS 8.1 to G3's running 9.2.  It even allows Macs 
to print via an HP JetDirect 170 that does not support  AppleTalk. I suspect AppleTalk 
is on the endangered list at Apple HQ. It is nice that a six-year-old Mac supports the 
latest protocols.
