I had 7.5.1 on the HD - copied it to a JAZ - used the JAZ as the startup disk - wiped the HD (zeroed all data) - tried to reformat as extended from the JAZ. OK - it's only 7.5.1 so tried to format the HD from a CD - system 9.0.1 and 9.1 and 9.2 and 8.5 and 8.6 but from them all I cannot get the extended format option to highlight.
