>1900 was not a leap year?

If you subscribe to the scientifically correct school of thought you
will know that 1900 was actually the last year of the 19th Century,
1901 was in fact the first year of the 20th Century therefore.

>Year 2000 is a leap year.

The same school of thought was poo-poohed for spoiling the fun over
the millennium new year by resisting calls that 2000 was the first
year of the new millennium, and that in fact 2001 was instead. This
may also be why Apple released most of it's best new stuff in 2001
not 2000 (OSX, better G4s, new rev. G4 PB, New iBook etc...), who
knows :).
