Hi Gadjo,

An extension conflict is one, however setting the upgrade to a higher than
allowable cpu multiplier/bus speed ratio is also another consideration. At
least you get your startup chime and video; I don't get the chime/video
when my settings are way too high.

Set the upgrade to a lower cpu/bus speed ratio and retry. Also trash System
Preferences - it may have been corrupted.
