I'm wondering if Ethernet can be used for communication between my printer
and my Mac.

Apple Personal LaserWriter 300 (1993).

PowerPC 4400/200 603e Processor (1998)
MacOS 8.5.1
48MB RAM
2GB HD
40MHz Bus Speed
2 Open Slots
Ethernet

If so, would the purchase of a cable do the trick?

My other Macs are not set up for Ethernet, but may be if it is worthwhile
to network them.

Thanks,
