The original iTunes required USB ports.... as does Disk Burner, and both 
are running perfectly fine on my upgraded 7600 with a Belkin USB card. 
It wants USB ports to connect to disk burners.

It'll run without them, you just can't make CD';s. Now, by now it may be 
like iMovie, in that it won't install if it doesn't see the drivers, but 
iMovie also runs on my 7600, which has the firewire extensions 
installed, but no firewire card.
