Hi all, I have a PowerMac 9600/200MP which I'm getting ready for possible resettlement in a new home. I just had a few issues I wanted to ask about to ensure it's in top shape for it's new owner.
Firstly, it won't play Audio CDs. Personally, I could care less, but since it's for sale... As far as I see, the only connections into the CD ROM are SCSI and power. Shouldn't there be audio wiring? If there is, where does it plug into the logic board since I can't find anything at all in the Mac which resembles audio cabling. Secondly, on the bottom, under the 'shorter' section of the case which has the power switch, there's a big square hole. Was something supposed to be here, or is the hole normal. Sorry for the ignorance, but I got this machine used less than a year ago, and it's my only PCI PowerMac (so far.) Cheers, Adam. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
