I agree, I have played almost all games you mentioned with a Voodoo card, started with a Voodoo 1 in a 4400/200 and mostly played Carmageddon at that time (most of the other games were not even released), than a Voodoo 3 2000 at the time that Riven was released (dunno if I played Riven with that card BTW) and have a Voodoo 5 5500 at the moment in my B&W. Still play a lot of UT, StrikeForce mod mostly and Q3A. Even Return to Castle Wolfenstein is playable. I never forget the moment I installed a Voodoo 1 card in my first Mac, didn't know what I saw :-) What a graphics! Wow! Too bad the manufacturer of Myst III lied about Voodoo compatability, because although they say they support the Voodoo 3, the grafix s*ck and ingame movies (FMVs) don't work at all.
