I wouldn't say that. OTOH, I have to agree with the comments on the commeicals. Dell (except, finally, for the business-oriented one) tends to be insulting, IMHO. "Duuude, you're getting a Dell? Like, cool. Does it have a window on it?" Apple's commercials - while some of the "switchers" are a bit odd - aren't putting down the consumer anywhere near as much. The main problem with PCs are not hardware (usually.) It's Windows. I had a lot of hope for a change (of course, I was heavily using OS/2 at the time) with CHRP, which led to the PowerMac. I've got a book here "introducing" OS/2 for PowerPC, as well. A lot of promise - and if MS had continued with NT (now XP) for PPC, we could do an honest, direct comparison.
