There are two tiny little dip switches on the card. One to protect/unprotect the BIOS so it can be flashed, and the other I believe was to enable/disable VGA. You could unprotect the BIOS and try flashing it, enable VGA and see what happens. I've used a number of Matrox Millenium 4mb cards (made for PCs) in Macs, and you shouldn't even have to have the Matrox drivers to get them to work.
