Hi. 7500 in a 7200 case with an extra fan mounted over the internal fan cutout xlr8 ZIF carrier with 233MHz g3 @ 250 A/V board 256MB interleaved RAM 1 GB and 500MB SCSI HDs 8MB ix3d Ultimate Rez video card 10/100 networking card 2 port USB card with Gravis Gamepad attached. OS 8.6
Q: Is the power supply in a 7200 rated the same as one that came with a 7500 or 7600? I suspect when I eventually replace the ix3d card with a power-hungary Voodoo5 card the stock 7200 PS will not be able to supply enough power. Since I added the ZIF carrier, the 500MB HD is not able to spin up on boot until after a five second delay. If the power supplies in the 7500 or 7600 cases are more powerful, I'd like to switch.
