I haven't heard of any bootable USB cards.  I don't think you'll find 
one.  All the cards that I've seen use Apple's drivers.  I don't 
think anyone would spend the money to write bootable drivers for 
these cards.  PCI USB cards for Macs are a small enough market, 
bootable ones would be even smaller.
