This particular feature was new in 8.5. One of the few handy things
Windows does that MacOS finally caught up with.

However, find a program called Liteswitch and you can get the much nicer
version that does it Win95+ style with a box of Icons. It'll work all
the way back to 7.0.

This works in 8.6 too; I just did the full circle.
