And what are the reasons to upgrade from 8.6 to 9.? minus better usb/firewire support? We upgraded, "because it was there", from 8.6 to 9.1. I'm not unhappy with OS 9.1.2 but I remember a smaller footprint for memory and faster operation under 8.6. Apart from a updated Sherlock I can't remember a compelling reason. I'll try this sooner or later but thought I'd ask the list first.
