There is a simple fix for this.
1. highlight the Quicken Application's ICON.
2. Select "Get Info - Memory" from the Finders "File Menu"
3. Increase the bottom Memory box's value by 20% or so
( 2500 mb to 3000 mb for example)
4. close window
5. start Quicken.

This should cure your problem. Type 1, 2, and 3 errors are usually caused by
the program not making enough "elbow room" for it to work in.

The last 2 or so versions of CarbonLib increased the memory requirements for
alot of applications.
