I'm new to the list (the last Mac I owned was a Lisa, a long time ago), and spend most
of my time on building PC's & such. Anyhow, a friend has a Performa
6400, which has no parallel ports, but does have two PCI slots. Her old printer died,
and the new ones are either parallel or usb.

Does anyone know if I can pop a SIIG parallel port card in the Performa 6400? It
would seem simple, but I noticed on the SIIG site that there were no drivers
for the Mac -- this would seem to be a clue. If I can't do parallel for her, are
there any suggestions or pointers on doing a USB card? Caveats? The manual
made the PCI slots 'look' standard, but that doesn't always mean anything.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.
