Well, you're not mentioning where your part of the world is, but Data

DMS has a curious way of describing its battery products.

Once, I was looking for brand new Wallstreet batteries. The Apple Store had
none, and the local Apple dealer had none, either. The local Fry's
Electronics had BTS batteries for the Wallstreet, but for a horrendous price.

Visiting the DMS site, they had batteries described as being for the
Wallstreet, for $198 and change.

They also had batteries described only as "BATG3 for 98 Powerbook" for only
$110 and change. This specific listing was buried VERY deeply in their list
of batteries.

I bought two of the $110 ones, and to my shock ... to my SHOCK ... the
contents of the box was a gen-u-wine Apple M4685 battery, to which had been
affixed a decal "Distributed by VST Technologies, Inc".

Naturally, I immediately bought two more at the $110 price.
