I have a 3DFX Voodoo3 3000 PCI in my PM9600 that works great. Mine was
an x86 version, so I had to hunt for quite a while until I located the
firmware upgrade (which I might still have somewhere...)

It should work fine for gernal purpose and games.

I paid $60 for mine about a year ago, and mine is also a 16MB.
