YES! STEVE, TIM & JOE THANK YOU!!! It worked! I tried this within Netscape: Edit > Preferences > Applications Select the file type that you are having trouble with. Click the "Edit" button and change the plugin to something else.
I wanted to give Beatnik a chance to let me hear my card since usually QuickTime freezes me.... we'll see... WOW a whole world just opened up for me...I've never been able to open ".doc" attachments....I can see why now ! I just set MS Word 6 to open them.
