It sounds like the basic problem is that your monitor is only 
displaying a 640x480 screen and the web page you are trying to 
display requires a larger screen.  When you say 'only part of the 
page' is displayed, does that mean you can see scroll bars or not? 
If not, then what you want to do is grab the title bar of the IE 
window and drag it left until you can see the grow box.  Then click 
on the grow box and your IE window should shrink back down.   You can 
also save some screen real estate by turning off the button bar and 
favorites bar in the 'View' menu.
