A Hypercard stack usable for this could probably be found free. but it wouldn't have the 'shared over the network' thing, at least not to the extent of record locking or anything, always a problem in a shared database.(What happens when two people make changes to the database at the same time?). Next best thing would be Linux/Darwin/BSD + MySQL or Postgres + Apache + PHP. All free, aside from the rather hefty programming needs( and you might be able to find premade stuff for this). This month's MacAddict (Oct or Nov.) has an article about getting a Blog running with MySQL, Apache and php. Sufficent clues in there about setting up and using the database and such to get you started. Beyond that, you're looking at things like FileMaker, Helix, etc. > -- Wherever you go, there you are.
