Actually, SCSI Probe SHOULD recognize it, because any 3rd party EIDE/ATA
controller is recognized as a SCSI controller, and any EIDE drives attached
to that controller are seen as SCSI. This is why an EIDE drive formatted off
an ATA controller in a PowerMac G4 may not work on a 3rd party ATA
controller on the same machine, since 3rd party controllers must have their
drives initialized as SCSI devices.

What's the difference between ignorance, apathy and ambivalence?
I don't know and I don't care, one way or another.
