Hi,

I need help with a recalcitrant Power Tower Pro 210. It won't boot. The
configuration:

1. CPU upgraded to Sonnet G3
2. SCSI card added with one internal drive attached
3. Two other internal HD's
4. CD ROM
5. Max RAM
6. Mother board battery ok

History:

Was my only computer and was working fine.
Had to go to full house PC for work reasons so stored the MAc
Got fed up with the PC after 12 months or so and tried to revitalize
the Mac
Plugged it all back together - and it recognizes the mouse (Kensington
Track Ball) and some of the key board (e.g. I can zap the PRAM but the
caps lock light does not work).
The monitor shows an arrow curser (that moves with the track ball) and
a very coarse raster pattern but that is all.
The computer does not boot from the CD ROM drive using the 'C' key.
In fact, it does not appear to be recognizing ANY of the drives (HD, CD
ROM, Floppy).

I did reboot initially using the reset button and remember pushing the
button above it a couple of times also. I forget what the top button
does, exactly, but recall it has something to do with programming - Is
this the big mistake?

If it is how do I recover from it?

Does anyone have any suggestions or a new mother board?

Rob
