ResEdit is the best to help you here.  Changing the type of a text clipping
is not good (the OS will remind you if you try to do so with a program like
FinderPop) probably a catalog error or a freeze could have cause that.  Who
knows (?)

Change the type & creator by using ResEdit. Cancel the open window, go to
the file menu choose "Get Info"

TYPE: clpt
CREATOR: drag
