If you want to play graphically intensive games at higher resolution and millions of colours without the action getting jerky, then 16 megs or more will be required. 32 is nicer, and 64 is even better. If you are going to go to OSX then the 32-meg Radeon 7000 will be just fine without raiding the bank. If you are NOT going to upgrade your PCI Mac to OSX, them get onto eBay right now and grab one of the really neat 64-meg 3dfx Vodoo5 5500 cards that are selling for about the same money.
