FWB discontinued SoftWindows. In its stead is RealPC 1.0.9, which is
supposed to be a competitor to VirtualPC. It seems to be better on low-end
hardware (like my 9500/200), it's MUCH cheaper (at $30-$40), but Windows is
not preinstalled - you have to do that yourself. The sound leaves something
to be desired as well.

Also, RealPC seems oriented towards Windows and/or DOS. Every hardware item
emulated is a 'Insignia XXX'. On VirtualPC, you can install OS/2, Linux,
etc., since it emulates an Intel motherboard, S3 video, and aSound Blaster
16 sound card.

I have both RealPC 1.0.9, VPC 2.1 and the 3.0 update. I would not mind
using them more, but on a PCI PowerMac without a G3 card in it, all of them
are pretty slow, although DOOM is playable on VPC 2.1 in DOS. :>

A DOS card would be much faster, since it is actually running on a Pentium
processor.
