Yes, Drew you were right - 9.1 frees up whatever hardrive space is
available. I can capture large (3.5 gig and up) uncompressed files with
Adobe Premiere.

The 8500 is capable of 320 x 240 capture, but I see no point in doing so as
it eats resources. I set capture to only 240 x 180.

OBTW my 604e-240 Power Computing card can render video streams as well as
the G3. I am told 604e's do a better job at lip-syncing.
