I have a 7500 w/ 2 interleaved 128Mb DIMMS and a G3, 300MHz, no
problem. Neither the memory nor the G3 came from OWC. I get the
impression that the problems some memory has with a G3 is due to the
memory not being quite up to spec. A300MHz G3 is still only
accessing the memory at 50MHz, same as a 100MHz 601. Now it is
trying to do it more often than the 601 but not more than the
hardware can handle. I think that those vendors that don't qualify
their memory for use with a G3 either know it isn't up to spec or are
being conservative and don't want to deal with returns.
