Hello, I have a PowerMac 8500 using OS 9.1. I recently purchased a Yamaha CD-RW 3-in-1 Drive at auction. I bought some CD-R 650 MB disks and some music CD-RW 700 MG disks. I copied my OS 9.1 onto a CD-R disk, and it went fine. When I put the CD in my CD drive to play it back, it shows what I recorded. However, as I scroll down the list, the computer freezes. I tried rebuilding the desktop but that didn't help. I tried to record the same thing on a CD-RW disk and this worked fine. However, when I put the disk in my CD drive, it was not recognized. I also found if I put the disk back in the Yamaha drive, it did not recognize it either. If I put a new disk in the Yamaha drive, it recognized it. Any suggestions?
