I just read the page and I can see your problem. The page says "The 7500 case opens by pressing upwards on two release buttons at the front of the case. Lift the outer case cover upward and towards the front of the computer." I'll agree with the press the 2 buttons, but I've found that while holding them in the depressed position, I've had to slide the case top forward and sometimes work it forward and backward until the buttons actually unlock. Once you can get some forward movement, slide the top forward until about half of the top sticks out in front of the bottom and then lift the top cover clear. Sometimes I find that the CD drive hangs things up and a little wiggling is required to free up the case. Care is required when reinstalling the top to make sure it aligns properly with the CD drive and the side metal clips. (Once open, you'll see the parts I mean.)
