Yes it can be done, I have done it but there are some things to look
out for, the flash chip on many of the PC cards is not large enough to
hold the Mac code and may need to be changed (it is a square
surface-mount chip),
If it ends with 128 then it will not work, if it ends 256 or 512 then
you can re-flash the chip for the Mac.
the extra connector is NOT a monitor connector (it is an expansion
connector for an AV I/O box) you will need to use either a PC monitor
or a Mac monitor with a converter on the HD15 port. you will also need
the new bios code and flash utility for the card as well as the
control panel.

NB the only Mac version of the card I have seen had a single Mac style
connector only, all the PC ones have the 2 connectors, but you can
only use the PC one for the reason I gave above.
If you are unsure about the suitability of the flash chip then let me
know what the numbers on it are.
