Well, of course they're perfectly servicable, but, IMHO, the small premium
paid for a 6400 if IDE wanted or a 75/76/7300 would get you a much better
piece of hardware. Of course if offered one for free, I'd definitely take
one. ;-) For a server... That IS a good idea, considering that you don't
have to fiddle around with the innards that much and case access wasn't the
best. Oh well, the 4400 definitely was not Apple's crowning glory of
PowerMac Desktop design.
